I tried some thing that worked pretty well today. I had a Kickin' Minnow that did not have any fish on it, but the tail at the first section was starting to come off. So I took my Pen-sized solder iron and tried melting both plastic edges back together- you can't get a flame in their too-well in those segments. It worked great and I think it will work good for the old Dawg plastic. The small tip lets you run down bothsides and squeeze them back together good and not much discoloration to your bait.

Just makin good use of time while I wait for cooler weather!

Yep, good idea Buddy!

I have been using something similar for years now. I use a wood burning/etching tool from a craft store. These allow you to melt the rubber from the inside out.

I have also started using "Mend-It". This stuff is awesome as well!!!
