We had a slow start, and finish this year. The year started at Spring Lake, with only one fish in the boat. Ron’s 43 ½, put him and Bob on the score sheet first.
Lake Heidecke turned out the same, with again only one fish in the boat, a nice 34 in. by Rick and Tim.
Fox River Chain gave up 7 nice fish, Russ and Chris took 1st place with their pair, 36 in. and 32 in.
Lake Shelbyville gave up 4 fish for the spring Classic. David and Tony walked away with 1st place at the end of the weekend with a 39 in. and 38 1/8.
Then we moved south to Lake Kinkaid, and the Muskie Gods looked down on the tournament and gave up 25 fish. Jim and Mike put 6 fish in the boat. 451/2, 46, 37, 36, 30, 34, what a day they had.
We moved back to the chain for the Jake Wolf Tournament and 3 fish were boated. Phil put a 36 and 42 in the boat to take 1st place.
In June we took the Kids to Site M and had a great time. They fished hard all day, but no Muskie. On Sunday the adults braved the storms and Michael took first place with a 45 fish.
The 1st halve of the year ended at Lake Shelbyville on June 21st with the LSMC tournament. Two fish were boated. Jim and John took 1st place with a 39 in fish.
