Overeating Walleye

I spoke with a very savvy local walleye angler last nite and he told me has been sticking a few very nice walleye in the tailrace section. Once again, he is seeing the larger walleye regurgitate 5-inch rainbow/brown trout as he is reeling them in to the net.

There are going to be some extremely fat walleye and muskies coming out of the river this season for sure.

he is right on that some of the walleyes Ive picked up their since the stocking have been nice and fat. the only one i seen regurtuate a trout was one my buddy caught.
