After the storms blew through Venango County saturday evening, we hit the Allegheny in hopes of some productive fishing.......
The usual friendly arguments between my 18 yr old brother Michael and myself about fishing spots / strategies (him smallmouth / walleye and me musky) resulted in us slowly meandering behind an island to some scattered weed beds.
On the 4th cast from the boat Michael hooked this 32 incher on his white spinnerbait and it jumped 3 feet in the air!! He landed it with bait casting bass tackle with no leader, worn mono etc.
My musky portfolio = Approx $350
Boat fuel & added boat accessories this year = $300
The irony of my younger brother catching one before I do & getting to watch it all happen = F*%k*n Priceless!!
