I am setting here in the cabin at Bonnie's Lakeside in Three Lakes. My customer called early and requested a later start than our 6 am planned start time as the temps were 39 this morning. That has been the story since I got here cold with one 4 day super hot period setting records at 95 followed a few days later with a record 46 high. Water temps on most the waters I fish are still below 70 degrees darker water are right at 70. Fishing has been hot and cold to say the least, however we have had some outstanding days since my last report but over all SLOW, alot of short strikes. Have found them on topwaters on for some multiple fish days. I have only caught fish on 3 different nights as the cold water has really slowed that bite. We did have a 2 fish night a 4 fish night and the largest being a 49 incher, everything at night has been on Cowgirls. Warmer things to come hopefully.....
