Back in May, 2009, the Hugh C Becker Foundation awarded a grant to Carlton University in Ottawa, University of Illinoise and Muskies Canada to determine the effects of stress and mortality associated with catch and release angling for Muskies.

This is a very neat study to read through and follow. Thanks for posting this one Bruce. Nice reading something with some good news for a change! Hows LSC? Going to get up there for the labor day madness. Was up there on saturday and trolled the dump for about two hours and caught a 8" smallie. Decided to drift for smallies and caught a 30" muskie. It was one of those days.
