Went 10 for 18 on Saturday. 110 fow seemed to be the area we marked most of the bait fish. We were dragging baits 70 ft. down in the morning and landed six nice kings. (one on a cheater line) In the evening we marked fish from 70 ft. up to 40 ft. Lots of bait fish showed up about an hr. before dark. Got one on cheater line last night, so we assume that fish was around 40 ft.
Best lures were flounder pounder took thee of the 10, ladder back J-Plug took 3, and Bloody Nose took 2. One fish on lead core the rest off the riggers. Our largest was 18 lb.
Classic was a 14 lb. salmon that thought he was a steelhead Ripped off 17lb test line like it was 6 lb. test and made five leaps. before we could gain any line back. Doesn't get any better than that!
