Is there going to be a HMH Ironman in September? I know I'm interested and have enjoyed fishing it the last two years.

Well, lets just make it.
When does it work out for people. We usually have it in Sept.
The 18th is a full moon, but is on a Friday. The 19th/20th may not be bad. Just a suggestion.

With this much notice, pretty much anything will work for me. Full moon weekend sounds like a good idea.
Biddler2 and I would like to fish together, but if we need more boats, we could split up and bring a couple other guys. Lets see if we can get more than the 2 boats last year. (yeah I know the weather was terrible, and neither toad, halfpint, biddler or I fished long. Weather was a legit excuse). As I recall didn't 2007 have quite a few boats?

BTW, this is NEW moon weekend. Not a full moon weekend. It'll be DARK.
The full moon is October 4th, which is a Sunday. How about we do it on October 3rd-4th? That would seem like the smarter thing to do.

Just wondering where you were going to meet at before and after thanks the 3rd is the chapter49 guide for a day I cant get in that cuz I have a trap drawing at the dnr at 9 but I can make 12 just let me know where you are meeting and where its ending thanks alot .

That's a good question Curt. Thanks for the heads up on that.
We may not have a formal beginning and let people just start fishing. We'll have everybody get together for supper in the evening.
We'll keep everybody posted.

OK, a date has been set in stone for the ironman, it is Sept 19-20, noon to noon. Alot of disscusion took place to set this date and most people thought it was a good one. Hope it doesn't cause to much trouble for everyone. The club will be providing a pizza dinner at 5pm on Saturday at Pizza King for all that want to take part in it. Hope to see you all on the water.
