The Bay de Noc Great Lakes Sport Fishing club will be holding their annual Kids fishing day in the Escanaba harbor on Saturday, August 8th. Registration is free, and begins at 10:30 (look for the red trailer.) Fishing will be from 11am to 2pm. Bait will be provided, but kids should bring their own fishing gear (I believe there are loaner rods available at the harbormaster shack, if you don't have your own.) Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be available. There will be lots of prizes for the various age groups - nobody goes home empty handed!
