Thursday greeted my client and I to yet another day of NW winds and a very good walleye bite. Using Reeves horsehead jigs tipped with half crawler or fatheads, we anchored in 6 feet of water and worked a 3 foot deep rocky shelf, although we didn't get a bite on top of this shallow shelf, we did manage to boat 5 real nice eyes right at the breakline and they all came on fatheads. Moving on to work some shoreline boulders, we picked up our final eye, once again on fatheads. Walleyes showed no interest in crawlers at all, not one bite on them and we used them 50% of the time.
Back out on Monday, will keep you posted.
