The weather has continued its help to move the fish around - not sure if it is Spring, Summer or Fall fishing this past week. Most every day something is biting good, just need to start looking for a new spot or technique often the very next day.

Kakagi (Crow) is in the mid 60 degree water temps and LOTW Steven Bay reported closer to 70 degree water temps. Normal on Kakagi has been near 70 the past couple summers.

Lake Trout are being caught both jigging and trolling - some 120', others at 85' and some near 30' (over deep water). Sometimes the Trout just get out of the way of the lures also :-). A few 9 and 10 pound Lake Trout, but mostly a variety of sizes being caught.

Bass have been biting casting, live bait and trolling - often in the 12-18' ranges near weeds, occasionally up on the rocks, the spines and even the deep water drops. A few 4 pound range bass reported.

Muskie = several smaller ones, a 42", 45" and 46". At this point you can probably guess where they are coming from. ;-).. a few all over.... but they are reportedly most active from the rock reefs (today).

Northerns were biting good on LOTW and a few better ones caught on Cedartree.

Walleye action from Cedartree was reportedly very good with about 50 caught. Walleye action from Pine Lake was reportedly fairly slow, only a couple during a day long adventure.

A couple nice Crappie from Pine Lake.

The fishing was quite good, just not consistent and a little more work then usual.

We have just wrapped up our busiest 4 week period of the season and have a couple cabins open the remainder of our season; and a couple cabins available for Deer Camp weeks (middle of October to middle of November).

Expecting we will be have a very good late summer and fall bite this season - with the lakes running cooler water temps the fall feed-up could come early.

Regards,
