Cedar River Producing some nice fish. Went out Sat. 08-08 little rough out, left dock @ 9am took our merry time getting out and fished with the waves. Did pretty well. Went 7 for 11 few small ones and our top four 23.5, 22, 20.25, 18.5# not a bad day!! Fish prefered silver flashers with a double aqua fly or something blue. Never had a hit on a spoon. Riggers and Dipsies. We only ran 6 rods, 2 riggers and 4 dipsies.
Sunday 08-09 Morning took out a group started off like a good day was in order. Then the fishing turned. the guys did great going 7 for 7. Not a lost fish. Nice job guys. Still had a good day sounds like the bite was tough for others as well. Fish today prefered white flashers on a white blade and spoon bite was a little better. Never took a fish on a rigger today!! Dipsies had 2 the rest came on Leadcore and copper.
If you get out hope you have some great fishing and maybe a hog or 2 for your cooler.
