Fished from about 6 until dark. Not a bite. One other boat had one 8lber, one other boat only caught one shaker. Just not happening tonight. Screen lit up with bait and fish before dark like usual but no takers. Fished 60-75. Is it time to look at switching to walleyes already?

I wouldn't give up on the salmon....I think the best is yet to come. Went out tonight to check some water conditions and wound up fishing from about 5:30 pm till a little after 7 pm. The temps are ideal where we were at with a nice break about 50 down. Fished a simple spread of 2 riggers, 2 divers, and 2 coppers. Wound up with 3 hits on riggers and 1 on copper. First fish was a 21 pounder, then a 15, a 5, and ended the night with a 19 pounder hitting the last rigger rod moments before I was gonna reel it in.
