Did a long 12 hour day with the Ludwig family today and it went pretty well. Started the morning off in search of walleye and right away they started catching fish. Had a nice bonus when Julie hooked a small perch and a snag at the same time and the snag came up as one of my rigs lost back in June. Around noon the wind went crazy so we took a lunch break and got ready for some perch fishing for the second outing. During our perch fishing we saw a wild sight as a bald eagle tried to kill a seagull for about five minutes putting on a nice display right by the boat. Once the eagle gave up and we started focusing on the fishing more I noticed a deer swimming up ahead of the direction we were headed. After the episode of Wild America ended we proceeded to catch a bunch of jumbo perch and ended the night with some more walleye fishing adding a few more to the box.
