Update 8/25... now that's more like it

Once again this season, a couple days of warm, stable weather was just what Mille Lacs needed. Guests boated one fish Sunday and two yesterday. None of them made the 50" mark, but yesterday's big fish, a fat (and I mean FAT) 48"er, was nothing to sneeze at, nor was the 46" from Sunday's night trip. Two of the fish came off rock spots, the other came from weeds.

I made it out yesterday Thursday. I didn't fool anything into biting but had several follows from weed spots and rock spots both. They were chasing baits but I just didn't get them to bite. But it was a great time to be on the water and it was nice to see a lot of fish.
