The Wisconsin Muskie Tour (WMT) will be held on the Eagle River Chain this weekend, Saturday/Sunday, August 29-30. Wild Eagle Lodge is the tournament headquarters.

The cost per team is $300 and there are still openings. Walk-ins are welcome. Registration is Friday night from 5:30-7:30pm with a mandatory rules meeting at 7:30pm. Fishing times on Saturday are 6am-4pm and Sunday 6am-noon. The award ceremony is Sunday at 1pm.

I still have a few condos available for the weekend. If you're coming into town for the WMT, call the lodge and ask for me...I'll "hook you up".

Congratulations to Jarrod Adamovich and Brian Krelle of Eagle River for winning the WMT this past weekend in Eagle River. They landed a 36.25 fish with only 23 minutes left in the tourney to take the lead!

The Wild Eagle Lodge would like to thank all 52 teams for participating. We look forward to hosting the event again next year.
Also, a special thanks to Tom McInnis and Beth for running a first class tournament. It was a pleasure working with you.

Really very interesting results from this tournament. There were some fine fishermen participating. Exellent numbers of fish caught under incredibly crummy conditions. Congrats to the winners. Nice job by Derek and the staff at Wild Eagle. Absolutely great comments from all the participants I talked to.
