I've been doing walleye trips and musky trips the past week or so, walleyes are bitting in the morning pretty well but in the afternoon things slow down to a stop.Deep weeds still are holding fish. Leeches, crawlers and minnows are working.
Muskies are chasing all kinds of baits, bucktails, minnow baits, jerk baits and topwaters can all work on any given day. We've been having trouble hooking fish and keeping them hooked lately.
Water temps are in the upper 60's.
