New Baitcaster?

Hey Ty,
I'm headed to Moose Lake on Sept. 19th for a week of fishing. I'm looking for a new baitcaster for my Muskie rod, i'd like to keep it to $75- $100? I will be using it to throw my heavier baits. I appreciate your help. Great site and information always.

The Ambassador 6500 C3 is a great reel and very reliable. I put a power handle on one and can throw a Cowgirl all day with no problem. You can usually get them for around 80-90 dollars and the handle is about 15.

The Happy hooker had 6500's for 65 bucks in June. My son bought one and loves it. I had just bought a 5600, or would have bought a 6500 myself. See Pat or Lori...they will hook you up!

The other good one besides what Gary suggested is the Pflueger Trion 65. Good reel for the price.
