Sturgeon

Hello all,

I am looking to go sturgeon fishing near the chippewa falls area. I really don't know much about it but I wanna take a break from musky fishing and give it a try. Can anyone give me advice as far as locations, depth and tackle? That would be awesome!!!

Go below the lake wissota dam - there is a boat landing by the timber terrace golf course. Be careful getting up there (lots of rocks) but an average size boat can make it. Use the your musky rod and some crawlers you will get some fish. Or you can try below the Jim Falls dam just walk down there.
