Spent the weekend in esky camping. Great weather. Fished south sat morning and boated 3 and lost a monster. One was about 26-28. All were on purple/gold blades near bottom. Tried all over the water column but on near bottom produced. Fished the same spot sat night, right away got one and lost one but had to leave due to med. emergency back on shore.

But all is ok for the time being.


Sunday, late start so just fished out in front of the golden arches from 12-4 and got several fish until we rean out of bait. Most were keepers, a few throw backs. Made one pass nere black bottom, only 2 fish.

Great weekend for just about doing anything.

Hey Travis just wanted to let you know the 25hp is running great... I can now do 25mph with the boat loaded with 2 guys, gear, and a full livewell;) Fished friday night south of esky on some structure after dark got 6 all over 20" and again on sunday morning on black bottom got 1 on cranks, then again south of esky got 7 after dark on cranks with the two big girls at 27.5 and 26.5"... Your right about the weather cant beat it up here...

Thanks again for the heads up on the motor and hope all is well with the emergency you spoke of...
