I stayed on the northern tip of the flowage this last weekend. had a great time but didn't do great fishing. saturday evening we caught 1 15in smallie and lost a real nice smallie boat side. sunday, we got skunked and lost a decent sized smallie when it went into a stump. monday, the first half of the day we caught 2 small bass and in the evening we anchored off a weed edge with submerged stumps in 6-8ft. Here one of our guys boated 4 walleyes in a 20 minute period although they were small it was still pretty cool experiencing a nice little feeding window. All fish were caught on artificial minnows. Heard the musky rodeo didn't go to well. Everybody we asked said they had caught nothing. How did everybody else do labor day weekend?
