Well the Lake Erie Perch are really starting to bite and so are the Walleye's. We headed out yesterday afternoon and headed for the North Bass Island area. Man was it good, we caught our Perch limit in 2.5 hours and only kept Perch in the 10" and above using spreaders tipped with lake shiners. It was around 7:00PM so we decided to go to one of our favorite reefs to pitch some stick-baits on the rocks, and boy I am glad we did. We caught 8 Walleyes all in the 4-5 lb range casting Reef Runner ripsticks and Husky Jerks.
