I saw some guys working the breakline at Black Bottoms a while back and they were pulling in quite a few fish. I trolled cranks along the break and managed two fish but it seemed the other boats technique was working better. What's the trick?

Try crawler harnesses or floating jigs tipped with crawlers or leeches, right on the bottom. All different colors have been working. Talk to 10 different guys at the launch, they'll show you 10 different blade/bead combos. Throw out an assortment and let the fish tell you what they want that day.
