Stayed over at Don Weavers and had to follow the Smarts who had a great week. We started late Sat. night and Ray started with a fat 38 and we had 3 other follows. Sun. morning I had one hit and miss the bait and 10 min. later another bigger fish swiped at it and got hooked in the side of the mouth got her to the boat and off she went. Not long after Ray got another one 37. We had about 10 or so more follows to the boat but no takers. Got up Mon. morning and was on the water by 7 and 10 min. later I finally put a fat 32.5 in the boat on a jerk bait. The night before Marshal got 3 on jerk baits. we had 6 more follows and saw several fish on the surface just swimming around. we had to quit at 11 am because I had to get home but Leesville is hot right now. Talking to guys at the ramp a lot of fish are following and more are being caught. Give Don Weaver a call and see if he has openings at the trailer and he is always willing to give help and mark your map. Doug
