Cabbage on E.R. Chain

Hey guys my brother and I have been up to the chain a few times this year and have only found cabbage floating in the water but have not been able to contact any in the water with our lures. Any information where some cabbage might be located on cranberry or catfish lake would be huge especially since next week will be our last trip of the year.

I could not find much of any weed growth when I was on these two lakes the 11th-15th. Even some mid-lake humps and bars that normally have thick vegetation were void of weeds. Heard it from a lake resident that there was some spraying that killed the cabbage along with the milfoil...not sure how valid that info is though.
I did encounter muskies holding in the same areas where the weeds are traditionally present though.
