Hello All,
With the water temp still at 68 degrees this time of year the fall walleye fishing hasn't hit its full swing just yet. Local fisherman have been picking up a few on Rapala Shad Raps and Rattlin Raps later in the evening near the dams. We expect the temp to drop significantly in the next few days here as the overnight lows reach 39.
A few area lakes have been producing Muskies though. Glidebaits and jerkbaits have been working great still this year. Hellhounds are amongst the top lures along with Poe's Jackpots and Viper Softtails. Stop into Aquatic Arts and you can get 10% off of any Joe Bucher Shallowraiders and Depthraiders which are always hot this time of year.
Large Musky Suckers have been producing a few fish, but once again with the warmer water temps we have yet to get into the PRIME TIME. We look forward to the fishing picking up this weekend!!!!
Have Fun Fishing!!
