Well they have been running some meat rigs for salmon, they catch fish. From what I can tell, they wrap strips of whatever around spoons and some other “meat rigs” to attract fish….. So why not for Muskie? Many times you take what works for one species and apply it for excellent results on other species.

So, I’m thinking Quail, full carcass. Those little wings and legs flopping around on the retrieve…. Gotta work. Good spots for scent bags too. Might even try some with feathers.

I think Pearson is the perfect supplier for the bait.

Cats, go with Cats! Fat fuzzy ones! tie a treble to the tail and back legs, hook the leader up to the cats collar and toss away! Live cats are better, as once they hit the water, they will go crazy, bring in a Muskie from over a 1/4 mile away! Cats!

Find a freaky cat lady, and you have an endless supply of baits!
