Yesterday the mother of all early fall cold fronts came in. 30+ mph winds, temps dropped 20 degrees, water temps dropped 6 degrees...brutal weather but that didn't stop Pat and Joyce from central Ohio yesterday.
Both Pat and Joyce had never been musky fishing before as we made our way to the first spot I was going over how to cast, ect.... We made the first drift and both were having a little trouble casting in the big wind which was very understandable. I was helping them with their casting and trying to keep the boat in position for them to have the best opportunity to catch a musky on this brutal day.... 1st pass through nothing...I wasn't suprised. 2nd pass through Pat yells, "I've got one!" After an awesome fight that took Pat under the boat and almost into the motor, he finally got her up so I could net her. 45.5 inches!!!! Not a bad way to start out!!! I have them again today, it's Joyce's turn today!
