Wow, did September put the hurt on me. No fish yesterday again. We had one follow a Pacemaker at two in the afternoon with bright sun and no wind. Makes sense right? I'm glad September is over. It started out so good and then went straight down the tubes. We had plenty of chances at big fish though and caught some upper forty inchers so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Water temps were mid fifty degrees yesterday warming up to 60 by the end of the day. It was downright cold in the morning. BRRRRRRRR!

How late do you throw the topwater lures normally. Haven't done well yet myself this year on twitch lures but the temps are dropping fast. Have had a good year on topwater this year for whatever reason and thinking about using them later than in previous years.

We haven't moved any fish on topwater in a few days now. I know a few people that have but I think it's pretty much over with. I'd say it's definitely a fall pattern now.
