Thinking about coming down Monday afternoon / night. Anything going on down south of the Ford or is the upper bay producing?

I just got back, (2am,) from a great trip with Gary Tackman (Doofighter,) and his father-in-law, Leon. We fished "down south," in 15 to 25 FOW. It took about 5 hours, but we caught our 3 man limit of fish. Biggest one was about 26 inches. Most were in the 20 to 24 inch range. We caught them on a little bit of everything, but the two standout baits this trip were Deep Little Rippers in Blueberry Muffin and Purple Barely Naked, (listening to the radio chatter, it sounded like Fried Chicken was good, too.)
Water temps are in the mid 50's now, but it hasn't seemed to hurt the bite any. If the weather cooperates, it may be well worth your while to head out.
