North bay walleyes

Hi guy's, just wondering when the Walleyes move back in the North end, I'm headed up in the Mid of Oct and want to try some fishing out of Kipling. I went out there 2 weeks ago and didnt do anything, small pike and 8lb carp on a jig. Talked to the DNR fish counter at the launch & he said most all of the fish were far south and hadnt started to come back yet. I'll give it a try anyway but thought I'd ask.
