10/1 - Lake Geneva, cloudy, 55 degrees, water temp 63 degrees, W winds at 10-15 mph. Caught 2 largemouth, 4 smallmouth and a lot of big perch. The best depth was 12-14 ft of water. Most of the big smallmouth hit on lindy rigged perch in 20 ft of water. The fish were caught by the Military Academy, and Narrows.
10/3 - Delavan Lake, rainy, 55 degrees, water temp 61 degrees, W winds at 15-20 mph. Caught 4 largemouth - 2 pike. Conditions were completely miserable. The fish were caught in the weedlines in 12-16 ft of water and the pike were on the weedline in 20 ft. We used 1/2 oz. lindy rigs to keep our bait near bottom with the strong wind blowing. Used nightcrawlers for the bass and the pike were caught on suckers. The biggest pike was 30 inches.
10/5 -Delavan Lake-Fished alone this P.M, rainy, 55 degrees, water temps 60 degrees, W winds 0-5 mph. Caught 5 largemouth - 1 Pike The conditions again today where tuff with a steady light rain keeping me wet and cool. Fish where found stacked in small areas along weedline and near points.
