You know, I don't remember the last time we had a fish hit in the first couple casts and did well. Well, the streak holds true. Evan had one hit before I even had my bait in the water. Evan had one hit a Bulldawg and got off when it got to the surface. Looked like a nice fish but it was out a ways. At least he didn't break his Diamondback rod on the hookset. Tom and I kind of figured he would. We had a blast but the fish did not go for us. I talked to a few other people and they had one hit for the day also. One caught a 45 inch fish and the other lost an upper forty inch fish. Nice day to be out there but not a high activity day.
Water temps stayed at the 48 degree mark.
We are going to make them hit today. Two fish minimum!
Nothing like jinxing yourself.
