No fish caught this week and we are in that quiet period between fishing groups and hunting groups.
Our first frost came Thursday and followed with about 4" of melting snow on Saturday. It sure looks odd to have the trees covered with mostly green leaves and snow on the ground. The weeks ahead have no major warm up or cool down predicted - looks like we will be bouncing from lows of around 20 degrees and highs of 30's and 40's. This should be the weather our Deer hunters and late Muskie hunters wanted.
Kakagi was 56 degrees in the bay on Friday and has been dropping fairly fast.
Hoping to find some whitefish coming up spawn next week :-)
Regards,
