Went out this afternoon, (haven't been on the water for a while), tried the north end and other spots north of the narrows. No bites. Worse yet, for me, could only mark very, very few fish in many of my "go-to" spots. A few buried in the mud in the basin. While up near Center reef I saw a red bleach bottle anchored to something, looks like the bottles used to mark nets. Can't believe there would be a net right in the middle of all the heavy traffic up there, very dangerous situation. May be just somebody's marker, either way, bad news. I was by myself, wind howling, didn't mess with it.

Also a BIG deadhead bobbing around up there, looks like a big piling, barely sticking out of the water, floating vertically. N 45 53 947 W 86 57 810. Weighed about a ton, I couldn't do anything with it, couldn't get a rope on it.
