Well we finnally had some indian summer and the Lake Erie Perch was our mission. The Erie Drifter first mates were all in competition form and the Perch also cooperated. We headed out to North of Kelley's Island and looked for bumbble bees on the bottom that resembled big Perch and anchored up east of Gull Island Shoals. The Perch came in waves and we limited out both Wednesday and Thursday. We used tibble rigs tipped with lake shiners and boy did they bite good! Usually after the first good cold spell which we had over the past weekend really set these big jumbo perch into a winter feed. We will be Walleye fishing and Perch fishing until mid to late November so if your looking to get away before the winter blues set in give us a call.
