A late report

I got an email the other day from Kevin Mosher. He and a buddy were up here a couple weeks ago. It's kind of a late report, but much better than nothing. Everyone's jonesin' for some fish porn, so here you go.

Hi Chris,
My friend and I stopped into your bait shop on the 10th and we really appreciated the information and help you gave to us. Sounds like a lot of people aren't doing too well. We didn't catch a lot, but we caught some nice fish. The big one went 10 pounds 4 ounces. There was also a carp at 22 pounds. Thanks a lot, here are some pictures of our fish. Hope to see you next fall!

I wrote back to him, asking if he could give a little info on where they fished and what they used. Here's his reply and a couple more pictures.

Chris, the big walleye I got on one of your crawler harnesses, gold hammerd blade kind of a orange perch color. We caught them off Hunters Point and the next big point to the north, on the east side. We caught everything on crawlers and redtailed chubs, about half and half.

The thing that struck me most was Kevin and his buddy had the lake all to themselves. The week they stayed with us hardly saw anyone out fishing. Same thing when I left to come back to illinois today oct 28. Perfect sunny morning , pretty calm . warm and I only saw one boat out on the water up here on the North end.
