Just a quick update from the past week. Weather has been the biggest factor.....up and down, wind directions switching constantly, etc..
Muskies had been doing several different things during this roller coaster weather trend. They have been using every kind of structure from weed flats to deep holes.
Feeding windows during these unsteady weather trends have been short...sometimes only 15 minutes....but bottom line, action has been provided sometime each day....lately it has been the last hour of light.
Wednesday did provide us with ALL day action, but that was rare, and typical for multi-fish days in the fall, nothing was a monster. We got a 34, 37, and 40 and also lost a 42-43 right at the boat...we saw another 7 follows and got a nice pike.
This weekend's cool down should get a surge of action again, and hopefully bring us some steady weather and get some of the big girls going.
Water temps are 41-42 on lakes 25' and less and 45 to 47 on lakes over 50'.
Good Luck!
