The fall fishing has been good for yellow perch in the western basin of Lake Erie. We have been catching some nice perch in the area of "C" can to "D" can. The size has been between 8 to 10 in. Walleye fishing has been very spotty and the areas that have been producing are mostly the Bass Islands and Kelley's Island. We have a couple Captain friends docked at East Harbor on Catawba Is. and there reporting very good catches of Walleye. Capt. Mike joined them for a trip Wednesday night and reported they caught 22 nice Walleye in the 22 to 27 in range fishing the shallows. They were casting Rapala Husky Jerks while anchored.
