Managed to fish Friday through Sunday in some very heavy winds and lots of rain. Fishing was very tough to say the least with the winds making it hard and for the most part impossible to fish where we needed to go. One 28.5" on a harness just north of the coal pile and one 16" on a fast track off of center reef in 10 fow with several nice northers in the mix. Seems like there are still a lot of weeds this year?? Should have stayed home but it was still nice to get out on the bay in the fall! Sad to see the bite the economy has taken out of the area, looks several restaurants and motels have closed up and just an absence of fisherman compared to years past. Water temps are still in the mid 40's hope to get back up in two weeks, bring on the cold weather!...good fishing!
