Craig Shlapper and I started midday yesterday and fished till sundown. We fished hard and did not boat any. I had one mid forty inch fish nipping at my Slammer the whole way in one cast but the thing would not grab it. It felt like I was banging into gravel or something but it didn't feel like fish. The fish made one more swipe right at the boat and then took off fast. That was the only fish we had going. Kind of a slow day for us.
Water temps were low forty degrees yesterday. I didn't see any temps over 43 degrees yesterday.
