Water Temps: 43-45 Degrees
Hours Fished: 7:00AM-4:45PM
Another very slow outing on the bay for us. The shad are still present and it is hard to compete with that. As the water cools down below 40 they will start to die off, from what I have heard it has started a little. There was a couple muskies caught from some of the other boats out there. Water at the mouth of the river was 54 degrees from the warm water discharge. The shad are starting to move into the river and the muskies will follow. The dredging that is taking place upriver is done for the year and will start back up end of March or early April.
