when can we expect fishable ice on the bay? Deer season sucked and cant wait to wet a line through the ice.

Still wide open water.
Trust me, somebody will say something as soon as we get any ice.

I just got back this afternoon from visiting the in-laws in Ironwood Mi. Talk about snow! if they don't have 10-13 inched on the ground I need to go see the eye doc! (know of any on here...lol) Anyway, as I was driving home to Marinette, I saw all the lakes, ponds and rivers frozen over. There were deer tracks everywhere in Popple River. I stopped and had to check it out. I found the biggest rock that wasn't frozen in the ground and I did the old underdog throw as high as I could. And then....thud! it was solid! I still wasn't gonna walk on it....but let me tell you the adrenaline that shot through my whole body. Believe me guys......it's just around the corner!!!
Oh ya....
Still got a 1 man Frabil Recon flip shack for sale.
