Anyone been out yet? I've heard of a few places ready to fish but I'm going to give it until Saturday. Good luck and be safe. The zoo can be a little tricky for the first ice!

I am not sure where you are from, but where i am at i would not go and set foot on the ice. Not with the thaw we had a few days ago. I know under the ice it is really cold, if you do go out becareful. I will not fish until 6 inches of "good" ice, it isnt worth it IMO

haven't seen it for myself but word is moraine state park/ lake arthur has 3" in some areas. This was posted on the iceshanty site.
