Kalie and I got out with the hopes of finding some crappies. We set up with our new tip-downs and jigging rods. We tip each tip-down with rosé red minnows and set each unit to have the minnow about 18 to 24-inches off the bottom. Our action was fast in the morning with a stall over noon time. The bite picked back up late afternoon.
All action came on the tip-downs.
Ice thickness was 8-inches of good ice.
