Made the trip over from I.M. and got set up south east of Center Reef in 25'. Went 4-7 on tip-ups and missed one jigging. One throw-back, two @ 16" and one just over 29". The 29" came just after 6pm. Glad I cut out of work after lunch...

I parked just south of the Days River (yellow gate Access?). Just about straight east 1 1/4 mi. There was somewhere around 8" of solid black ice. I did drive over one heave with the quad but no issues.

Made another run over tonight with my dad. Set up in the same spot with a 26" pike to start off the evening followed by a 16 & 20 eye, all three on the dead sticks. I was marking fish but couldn't get any to commit to jigging.
