Just wondering what shape the ice is in after the rain we had. Must be slicker than heck out there. Any areas change....lose ice? Thanks for the updates!
Looked like Escanaba harbor got pretty wet ... channel broke up some. That's just driving by, though.

my son and I walked off vegabond this am , marked very few fish nothing of any size. half in of ice on the top layer then 2-3in of water,then 6in of good ice. wasn"t to bad walking out next time 4 wheeler. that was the first time out no fish. Squarehook

Most of the reports we heard today from the upper bay matched Outnumbered's report.
The guys we talked to that were fishing south of Gladstone reported "dry" ice conditions. Basically sounds like the rain just melted the older snow. A couple nights below freezing should have most of the "slop" on top firmed up.
