I was wondering what is the best thing to lubricate an electric filet knife? Tis the season for a sharp knife!

Since it is going to be used on somthing you will eat - lubrication should be edible. Mineral oil or even olive oil.

Try some food grade silicone spray. We use it at work to lube gates on hopper railcars and they haul grain so it cannot be sticky or toxic to humans. You may try Carquest ask Pat if he can get some from Joe Deroin? At Barnes that is who we get it from. Unless you know of some other place that sells it.

Do a google search for "Food Safe Silicone Spray" and you will find many places to purchase.
