Walleye last night

Got out on the Eagle River Chain last night, best night in the past few. For 3 hours of fishing we had 13 flags and 5 walleye with 2 in the slot. The bite was alittle light with the fish setting off the flag but dropping the minnow after a few seconds. There was a number of fishermen out all with about the same results. The snowmoble trails are marked across a few more lakes but I am still finding 3-4 inches of solid ice and this was right next to the trail! Cauton is still advised on many area lakes, I am not taking my 4wheeler or Argo out yet i'll wait a little longer. I haven't even fired up my gas auger yet, no need to with only 3-4 inches of ice.
