Anyone having success on whitefish yet off of Gladstone? Haven't made it over this year. Been waiting for good safe ice and the reports indicate it is good for a 4 wheeler. When we come over we usually fish south the Mc Donalds landing/parking area off the drop. Thanks!

We talked to a couple guys today that caught two in that general location this morning. The fish are there, guys are seeing them on their cameras. There's nobody really targeting them right now. A lot of people wait until they can catch them off the Escanaba harbor mouth. If a group of fishermen would chum an area south of Gladstone like they do off of Esky, you would catch just as many fish.
